The 2022 Ranji Trophy will be played over two phases between February 10 and June 26.
The first phase of the tournament, which will be the league stage will feature 38 teams and 57 matches to be played in nine venues across India. The first phase will be held between February 10 and March 15. The teams have been divided into nine groups (8 Elite, 1 Plate).
The knockout or the second phase of the tournament will be held post IPL 2022 with seven matches to be played between May 30 and June 26.
Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) will host the matches of Group-B which comprises of Bengal, Baroda, Hyderabad & Chandigarh. The matches will be played in two venues.
Odisha have been placed in Elite Group-D and will be playing their matches at Ahmedabad having been pooled with Saurashtra, Mumbai and Goa.
