Bhubaneswar: In a significant development for rail commuters, the regular service of the Puri-Sonepur-Puri Weekly Express is set to resume, starting from February 8, departing from Puri. The service from Sonepur will commence the following day, on February 9.

The schedule for the 18421 Puri-Sonepur Weekly Express is as follows:
Departure from Puri: Every Thursday at 19:35 hrs (07:35 p.m.)
Arrival at Sonepur: Every Friday at 05:30 hrs
On the return journey, the 18422 Sonepur-Puri Express will adhere to the following schedule:
Departure from Sonepur: Every Friday at 19:30 hrs (07:30 p.m.)
Arrival at Puri: Every Saturday at 06:55 hrs
The train is slated to make stopovers at key stations such as Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Naraj Marthapur, Dhenkanal, Talcher, Angul, Boinda, Rairakhol, Sambalpur, Bargarh Road, Balangir, Bichhupali, Jhartarbha, and Narasinghgarh, both on its way to Sonepur and back to Puri.
Comprising a well-rounded composition, the train includes One AC-2 Tier, Seven AC-3 Tier, One AC-3 Tier Economy, Six Sleeper Class, Three Second Class Seating, One Guard, Luggage cum Divyangjan Coach, and One Guard, Luggage & Motor Coach.
