After two successive wins Odisha stumbled to a two-wicket loss against Punjab in the U-19 Women’s Elite-E-One-Day League being played at KL Saini Stadium in Jaipur on Monday.
Odisha won the toss and opted to bat and riding on Subhra Nirjharani Swain’s 114-ball 60, they put up a score of 141 for 7 in 50 overs. For Punjab, Mannat Kashyap picked three wickets and Priyanka two.
In the run-chase, Pragati Singh scored a 79-ball 56 and Priyanka chipped in with a handy 22 as Punjab chased down the target in 47 overs, with two wickets remaining.
This match against Punjab was Odisha’s final game in the league stage. Odisha out of five matches won two and lost three games.
