The resource person was Dr Krushna Chandra Gouda, senior principal scientist of CSIR Fourth Paradigm Institute, Bengaluru.
Prof Pradipta Kumar Nanda, vice-chancellor of SOA, Prof Jyoti Ranjan Das, dean (Students’ Welfare) and Prof Santosh Kumar Rout, dean of Institute of Agricultural Sciences (IAS), who also addressed the gathering, spoke on developing nations and the role of youth.
Advisor of IAS, Prof Bijay Kumar Sahoo and SOA School of Hotel Management dean Prof Sushant Ranjan Chaini were also present. Dr Anshuman Jena of IAS coordinated the programme. More than 500 participants attended the event including students, research scholars, faculty members and technical staff. The students were also encouraged to participate in the Voice of Youth programme and share their innovative ideas on the Vikshit Bharat platform.
