The petrol price in Bhubaneswar saw a increase of 17 paise. The rate of petrol in the capital city of Odisha was Rs 103.69 on Wednesday. While diesel price was Rs 99.57.
In Cuttack the prices of petrol and diesel on Wednesday were Rs 104.03 and Rs 99.90, respectively.
Petrol and diesel prices are revised in India on a daily basis. The fuel prices are revised at 6 am everyday. It includes value added tax (VAT), and dealer commission.
While the VAT varies from state to state, there are many other factors that impact fuel prices. Price of crude oil, INR to USD exchange rate and demand for fuel are some of the key factors that affect petrol and diesel prices.
