The petrol price in Bhubaneswar on Saturday saw an increase with the rate at Rs 103.74 while the price of diesel at Rs 95.28 per litre.
In Cuttack the prices of petrol and diesel on Saturday were Rs 103.80 and Rs 95.34, respectively.
Petrol and diesel prices are revised in India on a daily basis. The fuel prices are revised at 6 am everyday. It includes value added tax (VAT), and dealer commission.
While the VAT varies from state to state, there are many other factors that impact fuel prices. Price of crude oil, INR to USD exchange rate and demand for fuel are some of the key factors that affect petrol and diesel prices.
