Odisha’s Sushree Dibyadarshini and Tanmayee Behera named in East Zone squad for Senior Women’s Inter Zonal T20 Trophy

Cuttack: Odisha cricketers Sushree Dibyadarshini and Tanmayee Behera have been selected to represent the East Zone team for the upcoming Senior Women’s Inter Zonal T20 Trophy, part of the BCCI Domestic Season 2025-26. The tournament will be held in Nagaland from November 4 to 14, 2025, the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) announced on Friday.

Both players earned their spots in the 15-member East Zone squad following their consistent performances in the recently concluded Senior Women’s T20 Trophy. While Dibyadarshini is known for her all-round skills as a batter and off-spinner, Behera has impressed as a batting allrounder.

Also, Jyoti Kumari Prasad from Odisha has been named among the standby players for the East Zone team.

The OCA secretary Sanjay Behera, along with the office bearers and members of the association, congratulated the trio for their selection and extended best wishes for their future matches.

The East Zone squad will be led by Mita Paul, with Ashwani as vice-captain.
