Odisha waives user fee for public and community toilets

Bhubaneswar: Good news for the cities of Odisha as the state government has waived off the user fee for using public and community toilets.

In case you are asked for user fee, please contact the ‘Mo Sahar Sarkar’ helpline number to lodge your complaint, the Housing and Urban Development (HUDD) department stated.

In a letter to the municipal corporations, municipalities and NACs the Housing & Urban Development department has informed about the waiver of user fees towards the use of public toilets.

The civic body officials were asked to adopt IEC activities to spread the message – “No User Fee Required”.
“Make sure to always use toilets and help in keeping the toilets and environment clean in your cities,” the department said, in a message to the people of the cities.
