Odisha teams bag bronze in junior Kho kho Nationals

Host Odisha played inspiring Kho Kho as the boys and girls teams bagged bronze medals in the 40th Junior Nationals held in Bhubaneswar.

Odisha boys beat West Bengal while the girls defeated Karnataka to take bronze medals home.

A massive leap in performance for both the teams when the Odisha girls and boys had finished fifth and 13th in the 2019 Junior National Kho Kho Championship held at Surat.

The reigning champions Maharashtra defended their title successfully in both the boys and girls category. Maharashtra boys defeated Delhi while the girls defeated Kolhapur in the finals to clinch the gold medals.
