* Bhubaneswar reported 90 new Covid positive cases and 1450 recoveries in the last 24 hours, BMC informed in a tweet post.

* Odisha lifts night curfew from urban areas as Covid cases drop.

* About 43 per cent of the 62.10 lakh voters cast their votes till 12 PM in the second phase of the Panchayat elections in Odisha on Friday. Voting happened in 186 Zilla Parishad zones in 68 blocks of the state.

* Odisha reported 671 new Covid positive cases in the last 24 hours, of which 131 are in the 0-18 years category. In quarantine 393, local contacts 278.

* Sundargarh reported 105 Covid cases, highest in any district of Odisha, followed by Khurdha (103), Cuttack (31), Mayurbhanj (22) and Balasore (12). The State also reported 15 deaths.

* The petrol price in Bhubaneswar saw an increase on Friday with the rate in the capital city at Rs 101.81 while diesel price at Rs 91.62.

* In Cuttack the prices of petrol and diesel on Friday were Rs 102.17 and Rs 91.97, respectively.
