* Bhubaneswar reported 85 new Covid positive cases and 1405 recoveries in the last 24 hours, BMC informed in a tweet post.

* Cuttack city reported 16 new Covid positive cases and 44 recoveries, CMC said in a tweet.

* Odisha reported 886 new Covid positive cases in the last 24 hours, of which 169 are in the 0-18 years category. In quarantine 516, local contacts 370.

* Sambalpur reported 179 Covid cases, highest in any district of Odisha, followed by Khurdha (86), Sundargarh (79), Cuttack (40), Balasore (36) and Mayurbhanj (23). The State also reported 16 deaths.

* The petrol price in Bhubaneswar saw an increase on Thursday with the rate in the capital city at Rs 101.81 while diesel price at Rs 91.62.

* In Cuttack the prices of petrol and diesel on Thursday were Rs 102.16 and Rs 91.96, respectively.
