Odisha news: Bhubaneswar reports 198 new Covid positive cases, Cuttack city 44

* Bhubaneswar reported 198 new Covid-19 cases and 815 recoveries in the last 24 hours, BMC informed in a tweet post.

* Cuttack city reported 44 new Covid positive cases and 157 recoveries, CMC said in a tweet.

* Odisha reported 1712 new Covid positive cases in the last 24 hours, of which 323 are in the 0-18 years category. In quarantine 997, local contacts 715.

* Khurdha reported 257 Covid cases, highest in any district of Odisha, followed by Sundargarh (147), Cuttack (104), Sambalpur (56), Balasore (54) and Mayurbhanj (53). The State also reported 22 deaths.

* The petrol price in Bhubaneswar saw a decrease on Wednesday with the rate in the capital city at Rs 101.81 while diesel price at Rs 91.62.

* In Cuttack the prices of petrol and diesel on Wednesday were Rs 102.00 and Rs 91.80, respectively.
