Odisha name U23 squad for Col. CK Nayudu Trophy matches against Haryana, Rajasthan

Cuttack: The Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) on Friday announced an 18-member Odisha Under-23 men’s squad for their upcoming Col. C.K. Nayudu Trophy matches against Haryana and Rajasthan in the BCCI Domestic Season 2025–26.

The announcement was made during the same press conference where the senior men’s Ranji Trophy squad was also revealed. Opening batter Om T. Munde has been named captain of the U23 side.

The squad features a strong core of all-rounders, including Saideep Mohapatra, Soumya Ranjan Lenka and Md. Sohail, while Dinesh Majhi and Aashirwad Swain have been selected as wicketkeepers. The bowling unit includes a mix of pace and spin, with Ritesh Priyaranjan, Sayed Tufayl Ahmad and Sarthak Gourav Panda among the specialist bowlers.

Odisha will face Haryana in a home match at the Veer Surendra Sai Stadium in Sambalpur from January 23 to 26, before travelling to Jaipur to take on Rajasthan from January 30 to February 2.
