Odisha name 18-member squad for Senior Women’s One-Day Trophy

Cuttack: The Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) on Monday announced an 18-member squad for the upcoming Senior Women’s One-Day Trophy for the 2025–26 BCCI domestic season. The announcement was made during a press meet held here on Monday.

The squad was unveiled by Sasmita Pattnaik, chairperson of the Odisha Women’s Selection Committee. Odisha will compete in the Elite A group of the tournament, which will be played in Rajkot from February 6 to 18.

All-rounder Sushree Dibyadarshini will lead the side, while Tanmayee Behera has been named vice-captain. The squad features a balanced mix of experienced campaigners and promising young players, with several all-rounders providing depth in both batting and bowling departments.

Wicketkeeping duties will be shared by Monalisha Rout and Rashmita Chinhara, while the bowling attack includes a combination of medium pacers and spinners. Nivedita John Naik has been included in the squad subject to fitness clearance.

Odisha will open their campaign against Madhya Pradesh on February 6 and will play a total of seven league matches across different venues in Rajkot.
