Odisha news: Bhubaneswar reports 8 new Covid positive cases, Cuttack city 2

* Bhubaneswar reported 8 new Covid positive cases and 12 recoveries in the last 24 hours, BMC informed in a tweet post.

* Cuttack city reported two new Covid positive cases and 10 recoveries, CMC said in a tweet.

* Odisha reported 143 new Covid positive cases in the last 24 hours, of which 28 are in the 0-18 years category. In quarantine 86, local contacts 57.

* Gajapati reported 20 new Covid cases, highest in any district of Odisha, followed by Kendrapada (13), Balasore (11), Sambalpur (11), Jharsuguda (10), Sundargarh (9), Khurdha (8) and Cuttack (8).

* The petrol price in Bhubaneswar was unchanged on Wednesday with the rate in the capital city at Rs 101.70 while diesel price at Rs 91.52.

* In Cuttack the prices of petrol and diesel on Wednesday were Rs 102.17 and Rs 91.97, respectively.
