Odisha beat Jharkhand by 18 runs in Women’s U19 T20 Trophy

Raipur: Odisha registered a hard-fought 18-run win over Jharkhand in the Women’s Under-19 T20 Trophy 2025–26 (Elite Group) match played at the RDCA Ground, here on Wednesday.

Winning the toss, Odisha opted to bat first but struggled to build partnerships, managing 70 all out in 19.3 overs. Angel Raj top-scored with a brisk 24 off 23 balls, which included three fours and a six, while Ananya P Rout contributed with 14 runs.

For Jharkhand, Neha Kumari Saw bowled brilliantly, claiming two wickets for just two runs in four overs, while Vrishiti Kumar also picked up two wickets for 16 runs.

In reply, Jharkhand’s batting faltered against disciplined Odisha bowling and were bowled out for 52 in 16 overs. Prachi Pradhan was the lone fighter with an unbeaten 26 off 52 balls.

Odisha’s bowlers kept constant pressure, with MS Priyadarshini Pramanik starring with three wickets for 12 runs in 4 overs, while Sreya Priyadarshini supported well, taking two wickets for 17 runs.
