Odisha beat Chhattisgarh in women’s T20 League

Madhuri Meheta and Kajal Jena scored fifties as Odisha women beat Chhattisgarh by 71 runs in their first match in BCCI T20 League.

Opting to bat at the Greenfield Stadium in Trivandrum, Odisha put up 150 for 2 in 20 overs, with Meheta scoring 66 and Jena 60.

Chhattisgarh’s chase never took off as they managed to reach 79 for 5 in 20 overs. For them Shivani Krishna remained unbeaten on 24. Odisha’s Priyanka Priyadarshini picked two wickets.
