Odisha Athletics Association recommends Rs 67,85,000 budget for 2022-23

Odisha Athletics Association’s office-bearers and members during the Council Meeting.

In the Council Meeting of Odisha Athletics Association (OAA) held on July 17, a budget of Rs 67,85,000 for 2022-23 was recommended for the Annual General Meeting.

The Annual General Meeting will be held on Sept 11 in which the election of the Association will be held for the term of four years from 2022-2026. The last date for filing of nomination would be Sept 5.

During the meeting, to celebrate gold medallist Neeraj Chopra’s achievement at Tokyo Olympics on Aug 7, last year, the Association will conduct a javelin event the same day at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack.

G. Srinibas Patnaik, President of Odisha Athletics Association was felicitated for becoming the Vice-President of Athletics Federation of India recently.

Patnaik presided the meeting while Asirbad Behera (Hony Secretary) of OAA and all other Council members of the Association were present.
