BHUBANESWAR: The Higher Education Department of Odisha has issued revised guidelines for the Vyasakabi Fakir Mohan Bhasabruti Scheme under the Mukhyamantri Medhabi Chhatra Protsahan Yojana. These updated regulations will come into effect from the 2024-25 academic year.
This initiative aims to promote academic excellence in Odia language studies, encouraging meritorious students to pursue higher education in the language at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Universities and colleges offering Odia courses have been instructed to submit course details and AISHE codes for registration on the Odisha State Scholarship Portal.

Eligible candidates can register through the Odisha State Scholarship Portal. The initiative seeks to inspire a new generation of scholars dedicated to the preservation and growth of the Odia language.
