Odisha announce 18-member squad for final two Ranji Trophy matches

Cuttack: The Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) on Friday announced an 18-member Odisha Senior Men’s squad for the last two matches of the Ranji Trophy in the ongoing BCCI Domestic Season 2025–26.

The squad was unveiled during a press meet addressed by Odisha senior men’s selection committee chairperson Sourajit Mohapatra. Middle-order batter Subhranshu Senapati will continue to lead the side as captain.

The team includes a balanced mix of batters, all-rounders and pace bowlers, with Swastik Samal and Gourav Choudhary named as opening batters, while Govinda Poddar and Biplab Samantray strengthen the all-round department. The pace attack features Sunil Kumar Roul, Rajesh Mohanty, Prasant Rana and Tarani Sa.

Odisha are scheduled to play Tamil Nadu at the KIIT Cricket Stadium from January 22 to 25, followed by an away fixture against Jharkhand at the Keenan Stadium from January 29 to February 1.
