OCL: Sharma picks three as Cheetahs beat Lions

Cuttack: Sumit Sharma once again starred with the ball as Odisha Cheetahs beat Odisha Lions by six wickets in a rain truncated game of Odisha T20 Cricket league, played at DRIEMS ground here on Sunday.

With the match reduced to six-overs-a-side, the Lions put in to bat scored 52 for 6 with Biplab Samantray scoring 28 off 16 balls, while for the Cheetahs, Sharma returned figures of three for eight.

Devendra Kunwar scored 21-ball 39 as the Cheetahs chased down the target at the loss of four wickets.

Meanwhile, Odisha Tigers vs Odisha Panthers match was abandoned due to persistent rain.
