OCA organises Coaches Refresher Programme

Cuttack: Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) has started a comprehensive coaches education programme at Barabati Stadium here on Tuesday. The programme, spanning from February 13 to 16, aims to equip coaches from across Odisha with professional skills as they prepare to take on responsibilities in various academies throughout the state.

A total of 46 representatives from diverse affiliated units of OCA have actively participated, signaling a collective commitment to elevating coaching standards across the cricketing landscape.

The Coaches Refresher Programme is conducted under the expert guidance of the technical director of Odisha Cricket Academy, V Venkatram. His leadership is complemented by the expertise of seasoned OCA coaches, including Saurabh Sehgal, Pravat Nayak, Preetamjeet Das, and KV Prasad, who are actively involved in imparting training to the new coaches during this programme.
