OCA holds SGM to discuss upcoming T20I next month

Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) on Sunday held a Special General Meeting where the upcoming T20 International to be held at Barabati Stadium next month was mainly discussed.

After a gap of more than two years an international cricket match will be played, with India taking on South Africa in a day-night game on June 12.

In this regard, Sanjay Behera (secretary, OCA) said he has already requested the Odisha government to hold the match with spectators

Also, in the meeting two budgets were placed, one with spectators and another without spectators and it has been approved by the finance committee.

The match will be played under the newly installed LED flood lights, with the outfield of the stadium already being transformed into a sand based one.
