Navodaya Vidyalaya recruitment 2022: Apply Online for 2,200 vacancies

The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has invited application for various posts such as Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), Post Graduate Teacher (PGT), for Miscellaneous Category of Teachers (Music, Art, PET Male, PET Female & Librarian) and for Principal posts.

Eligible and interested candidates can apply online on navodaya.gov.in

A total of 2200 vacancies are available. Out of the total, 584 for the North Eastern region and 1,616 for other states.

NVS will conduct a Computer Based Test (CBT) across the country for the selection of the candidates. However, the exam for Principal Posts will be held in Delhi NCR only. Those who qualify for the test will be called for an interview.

AGE LIMIT

Principal – 50 yrs

PGT – 40 yrs

TGT – 35 yrs

Music Teacher – 35 yrs

Art Teacher – 35 yrs

PET – 35 yrs

Librarian – 35 yrs

SELECTION PROCESS

The selection will be done on the basis of:

*Online Written Exam

*Interview (except Librarian)

*Document verification

APPLICATION FEE

Principal – Rs 2,000

PGT – Rs 1,800

TGT and Miscellaneous Teacher – Rs 1,500

HOW TO APPLY

The online application will be done through four steps – registration, filling up the form, documents upload and fee payment. You can apply through www.navodaya.gov.in and can also check the official notification.
