Bhubaneswar: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) would soon be signed between Utkal University and AIIMS-Bhubaneswar towards research work in healthcare sector.
Speaking on the occasion of Utkal University’s 80th foundation day here, executive director of AIIMS-Bhubaneswar Prof Asutosh Biswas told about the proposed MoU.
He also lauded the university’s centre of innovation and incubation, e-library and e-laboratory, which have made a huge contribution in students’ career.
Science and Technology Secretary Bhaskar Jyoti Sharma, who was the Chief Speaker at the function, put focus on character building while seeking knowledge.
On the foundation day, a blood donation camp was also organised on the campus by university’s NSS Bureau, which was inaugurated by vice-chancellor Prof Sabita Acharya.
