Madhuri Meheta and Tanmayee Behera scored half-centuries as Odisha beat Chandigarh by 35 runs in their second c League match in Pune on Monday.
After put in to bat, riding on Meheta (76) and Behera’s (53) fifties, Odisha scored 253 for 7 in 50 overs.
Coming out for the run-chase, Chandigarh could manage to reach 218 for 6 in 50 overs, with skipper Amanjot Kaur scoring a brilliant 97, but not enough to see her team through. For Odisha, Priyanka Priyadarshini and Rasanara Parwin picked two wickets each.
After their two consecutive wins, Odisha will next meet Mumbai on Wednesday.
