New Delhi: In northeast Delhi’s Dayalpur area, a 58-year-old man named Zahooruddin was allegedly stabbed to death by his neighbour, Shahid, whom he had lent Rs 10,000, according to the police on Saturday.
The incident took place near Bharat Dairy around 1:30 pm, resulting in Zahooruddin’s immediate death at the scene. Authorities reported that Shahid, the accused, had borrowed the money but was unwilling to repay it.

A police officer as reported by PTI said that Zahooruddin consistently asked Shahid to settle the debt, leading to an escalating dispute between the two. The victim was involved in the shoe-making business.
Zahooruddin’s son, Sohail, filed a complaint, leading to the registration of a murder case. The police have formed teams to nab Shahid.
