New Delhi: The Delhi Police are actively searching for a 23-year-old man, Abdul Malik, who went missing on January 28 after allegedly being assaulted and thrown into a canal in Noida.

Malik’s relative filed a missing report, leading to the apprehension of suspects Sonu Saini, Vinod, and Virender, who were last seen with the victim, as reported by PTI.

Malik, a former motor mechanic at Virender’s shop, had been sacked in November 2023 due to complaints about his anti-social activities.

The suspects confessed to assaulting Malik and throwing him into Adha Canal in Noida. One suspect, Zahir, is currently at large, prompting a manhunt by the police.
