Mumbai: The Delhi Police apprehended a 45-year-old man, Praghat Singh, from Gurdaspur, Punjab, at Mumbai airport on Thursday.
According to media reports, Singh is accused of duping individuals by posing as an agent facilitating overseas travel and passport services.
The arrest came after discrepancies were discovered in the travel history of a passenger who had allegedly used Singh’s services.
Investigations revealed that Singh had arranged passports for individuals who travelled under false identities.
