Mysuru: A leopard was spotted inside the Infosys campus in Mysuru early Tuesday morning, prompting the forest department to launch an extensive combing operation.
The sighting occurred around 3:30 am in the underground car parking area, as reported by security staff. CCTV footage later confirmed the presence of the big cat, raising concerns among employees and authorities.
In response, a 50-member team from the forest department has been deployed to locate and safely capture the animal. The team is equipped with cages, nets, and drones to aid in the search operation.
“A leopard was spotted inside the Infosys campus, and our personnel are actively working to capture it. Drones are being used to enhance the search,” a senior forest officer stated.
The operation is ongoing, and authorities have urged people in the vicinity to remain vigilant and avoid the area until the leopard is safely secured.
