The railway line between Manabar and Jarati stations in Koraput-Jagadalpur railway section has been restored, which got blocked because of a landslide on September 13.
The important train line running through the dense forests of Eastern Ghats was cleared for service after 27 days of restoration work.
The track was cleared fit on Monday midnight with running of goods train at 10 kmph and subsequent goods trains with 20 kmph.
East Coast Railway’s general manager Manoj Sharma visited the affected spot and reviewed the restoration work.
