Khurdha Road-Balangir rail line project completed

Construction of the much awaited Mahipur-Nuagaon Railway section of the ongoing Khurda Road-Balangir rail line project has been completed and awaits clearance from Commissioner of Railway Safety for commissioning.

Khurda Road-Bypass line has also been completed.

Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) South Eastern Circle, Kolkata will inspect the 13,050 km long rail line between Mahipur to Nuagaon Station of ongoing Khurda Road-Balangir rail line project on Wednesday.

Similarly, 3,099 km long Khurda Road bypass line will be inspected on March 24 by the CRS. All Safety related works in the new line will be inspected and thoroughly checked before commissioning.
