Cuttack: It was a day of one-sided contests in the OCA U-16 Inter-District Cricket Tournament (2025) as Kendrapara, Keonjhar and Cuttack-B recorded convincing wins in their respective second-phase league matches on Friday.
At Bidanasi Cricket Ground, Kendrapara outplayed Khordha by 195 runs. Batting first, Kendrapara posted 241 for 6 in 50 overs, powered by Govind Patnaik’s 59 off 67 balls and Swapnil Rana’s 33 off 63. Khordha’s chase faltered early, collapsing for just 46 in 15.3 overs. Nilesh K. Bebarta Pattanaik was the star with a five-wicket haul (5/10), earning him the Stand-out Performer award.
