Bhubaneswar: Commissionerate Police inaugurated Kalinga Nagar police aid post near SOA’s campus-2 here on Tuesday.
Twin-city police commissioner Soumendra Priyadarshi inaugurated the outpost, with additional commissioner Brijesh Kumar Rai, Bhubaneswar DCP Prateek Singh and SOA’s founder-president Prof (Dr) Manoranjan Nayak also present.
This area is frequented by many patients because of the presence of SUM Hospital and SUM Ultimate Medicare, and this police outpost will give them better security, said Priyadarshi.
This aid post will come under Bharatpur police station, and will be manned by two officers, six-eight constables, he informed. Moreover, the police aid post was started to maintain law and order situation in Kalinga Nagar and Kalinga Vihar area, he added.
