Prayash Singh picked a five-wicket haul as Nuapada defended a small total to beat Paradeep by 8 runs in a preliminary Silver Group match of Kalahandi Cup on Monday.
Opting to bat, Nuapada were all out for 186 in 27.4 overs with Prayash scoring 83 runs. For Paradeep, Pradipta Khatua claimed a five-for.
Coming out for the run-chase, Paradeep were bowled out for 178 in 36 overs.
