Bhadrak with a two-wicket win over Balasore have qualified to the Super League stage from the Gold group of the Kalahandi Cup.
Bhadrak have joined four other teams from Diamond group in the Super League stage. Meanwhile, Balasore will wait to play against the winner from the playoff in the Silver group.
Opting to bat, Balasore made 237 all out in 50 overs, with Rajib Sahu scoring 82. For Bhadrak, Kshyama Bal picked three wickets.
Riding on Sahin Khan’s 82 and Abinash Singh’s 77, Bhadrak chased down the target in 48.5 overs with two wickets remaining.
