Sundargarh chase down 186 against Kendrapara
At Sunshine Cricket Ground, Sundargarh secured a five-wicket win over Kendrapara.
After opting to bat, Kendrapara were bowled out for 185 in 35.1 overs despite a fine 90 off 87 balls from Gaurav Choudhary. Walter Toppo was the standout performer with the ball, claiming 4 for 26.
In reply, Sundargarh made light work of the chase, reaching 188/5 in just 23.1 overs. Umesh K Goutam smashed 67 off 41 balls, while Soumya R Lenka hammered 56 off only 23 deliveries to seal a comfortable victory.
Biswajeet’s 164 powers Nayagarh to 84-run win
At BJB School Ground, Khordha, Nayagarh posted a massive 311/8 in 43 overs against Sambalpur-B.
Biswajeet Pradhan starred with a brilliant 164 off 117 balls, well supported by Ashimananda Dalabehera’s 93 off 76. Prashant Thakkar returned 5 for 53 for Sambalpur-B.
Chasing 312, Sambalpur-B were bowled out for 227 in 35.4 overs, with Amit Suna scoring 37. Ashutosh Das picked up 4 for 64 as Nayagarh clinched an 84-run win.
Arjun Kumar stars as Nabarangpur win by 92 runs
At DRIEMS Cricket Ground, Nabarangpur defeated Dhenkanal by 92 runs. Batting first, Nabarangpur made 191 in 34.2 overs, thanks to Arjun Kumar’s 76 off 65 balls. Akash K. Puhan took 3 for 49.
Dhenkanal struggled in reply and were dismissed for 99 in 24.3 overs. Chandan Mohapatra scored 25, but Arjun Kumar returned to shine with the ball, taking 4 for 24 to complete a superb all-round performance.
Suryakant’s five-for helps ECORSA edge Cuttack-B
At Centurion University Ground, ECORSA registered a three-wicket victory over Cuttack-B.
Cuttack-B were bowled out for 147 in 44.2 overs, with Swayam Srivastava scoring 36. Suryakant Pradhan was exceptional, finishing with 5 for 25.
ECORSA chased down the target, reaching 148/7 in 32.2 overs. Abhishek K Yadav contributed a brisk 32 off 19 balls to guide his side home.
Khordha defend 164 to beat Sonepur by 51 runs
At Ravenshaw I Ground, Khordha defended 164 to defeat Sonepur by 51 runs.
Khordha were bowled out for 164 in 40.2 overs, with Debabrata Pradhan top-scoring with 59 off 116 balls. Shubham Bisht and Suman Moharana picked up three wickets each.
Sonepur were then dismissed for 113 in 26.1 overs despite K Gopal Krishna’s 51 off 55 balls. Siddharth Sinha starred with 4 for 26.
Bhubaneswar-A thrash Deogarh by 220 runs
At Adashpur Ground, Bhubaneswar-A delivered one of the most dominant performances of the day.
After choosing to bat, they posted 281/6 in 47 overs, powered by Sandeep K Pattnaik’s 81 off 69 balls. SK M Naqueeb claimed 4 for 46.
In reply, Deogarh were skittled out for just 61 in 18.4 overs. Ashutosh Nayak ran through the batting line-up with a stunning 8 for 23 as Bhubaneswar-A won by 220 runs.
Jajpur rout Koraput in one-sided contest
At Ravenshaw II Ground, Koraput were bundled out for just 27 in 15.5 overs after opting to bat.
Shibasundar Das took 6 for 22, while Papu Ray produced an incredible spell of 4 for 4.
Jajpur comfortably chased down the target, reaching 33/3 in 5.5 overs to win by seven wickets.
Malkangiri chase 207 to beat Boudh
At Railway Ground, Jatni, Boudh posted 206/8 in 45 overs. Tusar Sengupta narrowly missed a century, scoring 99 off 127 balls. Naka Deepak Raj claimed 4 for 32.
Malkangiri responded strongly, chasing down the target with ease. They reached 210/3 in 38.2 overs, with Jami Tanay remaining unbeaten on 75 off 97 balls and Subir Sardar contributing 51 off 81, sealing a seven-wicket victory.
