Cuttack: Pankaj Senapati scored a century and Ashit Sahu picked four wickets as Keonjhar thrashed Nayagarh by 104 runs in a second phase league (Gold-B) one-day match of Kalahandi Cup on Sunday.
Put in to bat at Barabati Stadium, Keonjhar scored 210 in 50 overs with Senapati scoring 109 off 129 balls and Ashit chipping in with a 27-ball 46. For Nayagarh, Dillip Panda and Silan Nayak picked three and two wickets respectively.
Ashit clipped Nayagarh’s run-chase by returning figures of 4 for 6 in three overs, to hand Keonjhar a 104-run victory.
