Cuttack: Rakesh Pattanaik scored a hundred to power Khordha to five-wicket win over Sundargarh in a 1st phase league (Diamond-A, B) one-day format match of Kalahandi Cup on Thursday.
Opting to field, Aditya Jaisingh took four wickets and Subham Nayak one as Khordha restricted Sundargarh to 254 for 7 in 40 overs. For Sundargarh, Govinda Poddar scored 94 off 71 balls and Swastik Samal 51 off 46 balls.
With Pattanaik stepping up by slamming a 101 off 77 balls and Hemant Rathi scoring 58 off 69 balls, Khordha cantered to the target in 39.4 overs with five wickets remaining.
