Kalahandi Cup 2024: Nuapada trump Malkangiri in low-scoring game

Cuttack: Nuapada successfully defended a low total to beat Malkangiri by 55 runs in a third phase league (Silver A, B) game of Kalahandi Cup 2024 on Friday.

Put in to bat at Barabati Stadium, Md Noaman Khan scored 43 and Saroja Panda 26 in Nuapada’s 122 all out in 28.2 overs. For Malkangiri, Gagandeep S Riar picked a five-wicket haul.

However, Nuapada put up a spirited bowling show by bundling Malkangiri out for 67 in 23.5 overs. Pratik Pattanaik and Nikhil Chndrapar took four and three wickets respectively.
