Kalahandi Cup 2024: Binayak takes five in Gajapati victory

Cuttack: Binayak Sahoo took a five-wicket haul as Gajapati thrashed Nabarangpur by 105 runs in a third phase league (Silver A, B) match of Kalahandi Cup on Wednesday.

Opting to bat first at Ravenshaw Ground-2 here, Gajapati put up 231 for 9 in 50 overs with Gurpreet Singh scoring 56 and Abhijeet Padhy 36.

Nabarangpur’s run-chase was in tatters with Binayak chipping in with five wickets and Chappala Ganesh chipping in three scalps.
