Cuttack: Raghvendra Tripathy’s century led Balangir to four-wicket win against Jagatsinghpur in a high-scoring third phase league (Silver A, B) game of Kalahandi Cup 2024.

Opting to bat at Sunshine Ground on Monday, Jagatsinghpur put up a massive 354 for 8 in 50 overs. Dikshyant Das (77) and Kissan Ratha (73) did the bulk of the scoring for Jagatsinghpur. For Balangir, Biki Nag and Gourav Kumbhar picked four and three wickets respectively.

The big total would have given Jagatsinghpur some sort of assurance but Tripathy had other plans as he slammed a 128-ball 147 with Anshuman Mishra chipping in with 52 as Balangir gunned down the target with two overs to spare.
