IPL schedule: Match dates, timings and venues of Indian Premier League 2023

The 16th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), the world’s most popular and lucrative cricket league, will start on March 31. The first game of this season will be played between defending champions Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

From this season onwards, the IPL will return to its original Home and Away format, after a gap of four years. The 10 teams will play their home games at their pre-determined home grounds across the country.

With new venues announced for this season, IPL 2023 will be held in Ahmedabad, Mohali, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, Jaipur, Mumbai, Guwahati, and Dharamsala.

IPL 2023 will consist of 70 league games, which will have 18 double-headers. Each team will play seven home and away games during the campaign. The almost two-month-long tournament will end on May 28.

During this edition of the IPL, the teams can appeal for review of No balls and Wide balls to the 3rd umpire.
