Chennai Super Kings have already booked a playoff berth but would like the momentum going when they take on a struggling Rajasthan Royals in the second match of Saturday’s double-header.

MS Dhoni-led side became the first team to reach the IPL 2021 playoffs with a six-wicket win over Sunrisers Hyderabad on Thursday. Chennai are currently leading the points table with 18 points from 11 matches.

On the other hand, Rajasthan with eight points from 11 points are placed seventh in standings and a loss on Saturday will make their playoff chance almost impossible.

In order to remain in contention, Rajasthan needs to win their remaining games convincingly. But the task is easier said than done.
