International Nurses' Day celebrations held at SUMUM in Bhubaneswar.
Bhubaneswar: SUM Ultimate Medicare celebrated the International Nurses’ Day on Friday.
The nurses who were present at the event took the ‘Florence Nightingale Pledge’ holding candles.
The CEO of SUMUM, Dr Swetapadma Dash, chief of Medical Services (CMS), Dr (Brig) Biraj Mohan Mishra, chief of Nursing Services, N Ayesha were present at the event.
Adressing the event, Dr Dash said that the nurses have always been an integral part of the healthcare industry and play an important role in serving the socity.
“We have gathered here today to celebrate and acknowledge the selfless and dedicated service that the nurses provide. The nurses at SUMUM are considered the heart of the facility.” Dr Dash said.
The nurses present at the event also celebrated the day with various cultural performances, fun acts and other entertainment activities.
