Indian Railways recruitment 2022: Apply online for vacancies under sports quota

The North Eastern Railway, Gorakhpur has invited applications from meritorious sportspersons for filling vacant posts of Group C.

Those interested can apply from 26 March to 25 April 2022 at NER official website ner.indianrailways.gov.in.

Who is eligible:

Candidates who have played sports such as cricket, kabaddi, basketball, hockey, volleyball, handball, wrestling, athletics and weightlifting etc at a competitive level are eligible to apply for these posts

Salary:

Selected candidates will be paid Rs 5200-20200. Those possessing sports qualifications for the grade of the post Rs 1900/2000 may also apply for the posts of Grade Pay Rs 2400/2800, said the official notification.

Educational qualifications: Candidates applying should have passed class 12th examination from a recognised board.

Age Limit: 18 to 25 years of age.

* Visit the official NER website and go to ‘Contact Us/Recruitment’ tab. Then select the ‘Recruitment’ – ‘RRC’ section and
click on ‘Sports Quota Recruitment’.

* Select ‘download’ given against ‘Link for Online Application for SQ Recruitment 2021-22’. It will redirect you to a new page.

* ‘Read and mark tick for instructions and click on ‘Click for Online Application. Fill in all the details, upload documents and submit application
and pay the required fees.
