The Indian Railways has released a short notice for its Ministerial and Isolated category recruitment drive 2024, inviting applications for 1,036 positions across various roles. These include Post Graduate Teacher (PGT), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), Chief Law Officer, Public Prosecutor, Junior Hindi Translator (JHT), Librarian, and Primary Railway Teacher.

  • Application Start Date: January 7, 2025
  • Application End Date: February 6, 2025

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements based on the role:

  1. Educational Qualification:
    • For teaching positions (PGT, TGT, Primary Teacher): A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the relevant subject is required, along with a B.Ed, D.El.Ed, or a valid TET certificate.
    • For other positions like Junior Hindi Translator or Librarian, specific qualifications are mentioned in the official notification.
  2. Age Limit:
    • Minimum age: 18 years
    • Maximum age: 33-48 years, depending on the role (as of January 1, 2025).

Pay Scale

Selected candidates will receive salaries ranging from ₹19,900 to ₹47,600 per month, based on the position.
