IDS conducts two-day workshop on dental photography

A two-day workshop on dental photography was held at SOA.

Bhubaneswar: A two-day workshop on dental photography which was conducted at the Institute of Dental Sciences (IDS), faculty of dental sciences of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA), for faculty members and post-graduate students concluded on Friday.

The workshop was organised by SOALENS Photography Club of IDS in which Dr. Mayur Davda, acclaimed dental photographer from Mumbai, trained the participants as the resource person.

Dental photography is a challenge in the backdrop of need for documentation of good clinical pictures which helps in patient education, knowledge dissemination and publications in acclaimed research journals.

Prof. (Dr.) Neeta Mohanty, dean of IDS and Dr. Davda distributed certificates to the participants at the conclusion of the workshop.

The SOALENS Photography Club team comprises its coordinator Prof. (Dr.) Rajat Panigrahi, Dr. Anurag Satpathy, Dr. Smruti Bhusan Nanda, Dr. Siba Prasad Jena, Dr. Saurav Panda, Dr. Tushar Kanti Nayak, Dr. Ipsita Mohanty and event coordinator Prof. (Dr.) Lora Mishra.
