The petrol price in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday again saw an increase as the rate was Rs 103.81 while price of diesel at Rs 93.61.
In Cuttack the prices of petrol and diesel on Wednesday were Rs 103.82 and Rs 93.62, respectively.
Petrol and diesel prices are revised in India on a daily basis. The fuel prices are revised at 6 am everyday. It includes value added tax (VAT), and dealer commission.
While the VAT varies from state to state, there are many other factors that impact fuel prices. Price of crude oil, INR to USD exchange rate and demand for fuel are some of the key factors that affect petrol and diesel prices.
