Fuel prices hiked, petrol rate in Bhubaneswar Rs 108.02 on Oct 22
The fuel prices in Odisha saw a hike on Friday, as the petrol price increased by Rs 0.19 in Bhubaneswar, with the rate of petrol in the capital city being Rs 108.02 while diesel price at Rs 104.47.
In Cuttack the prices of petrol and diesel on Friday were Rs 108.19 and Rs 104.64, respectively.
Petrol and diesel prices are revised in India on a daily basis. The fuel prices are revised at 6 am everyday. It includes value added tax (VAT), and dealer commission.
While the VAT varies from state to state, there are many other factors that impact fuel prices. Price of crude oil, INR to USD exchange rate and demand for fuel are some of the key factors that affect petrol and diesel prices.
